OddGrooves Releases New Service: Free Backing Tracks

OddGrooves Releases Free Backing Tracks - high quality musical backings for instrumentalists.(PRWEB) August 31, 2010 -- Swedish music production company OddGrooves launches the website(), a service bringing high quality musical backings to the Youtube generation of guitarists and other instrumentalists to practice their skills. The backing tracks cover genres such as progressive rock, jazz fusion, reggae and westcoast rock. Several of the tracks are composed in odd time signatures - something of a trademark genre for OddGrooves. In the near future, heavy metal tracks will also be added. OddGrooves CEO Per Ulfhielm says:"When I started out playing guitar in the early eighties I definitely would have wanted some good practice material in odd time signatures. The only options for practicing odd meters back then were to either play to a metronome or play along with albums by Yes, King Crimson and Mahavishnu Orchestra. Our goal with this service is to give instrumentalists from all over the world the opportunity to practice their chops on high quality backings - completely for free. We encourage user participation by uploading both audio and video of you playing over our backings - all submissions will be showcased on the website."All backing tracks are performed by OddGrooves (Magnus Brandell on drums and Per Ulfhielm on guitar, bass and keyboards). For more info, please visitor OddGrooves ###Free Backing TracksPer Ulfhielm+46 76 7842432Trackback URL: http://prweb.com/pingpr.php/SW5zZS1IYWxmLVRoaXItUHJvZi1TaW5nLVNxdWEtWmVybw==Nick Cave and Warren Ellis, Dhmhtrhs Mhtropanos, Clubcraaft , Rob Spencer, High Caliber, More Fire featuring Dean Chohan, Pharrell Williams, Madlot music , The SOS All Stars, Scarletron , Roots Tonic Meets Bill Laswell, Blackstone, River Bank, Nacht Plank and Hem, Dead Dead Dead, Vigo , East Bank Gangstas, Ajja, Deee-Lite, Aldeo Del Rio
