Roma, 28 nov. (LaPresse) - "Il Governo crede che il Servizio Sanitario sia economicamente sostenibile attraverso operazioni di riorganizzazione e ristrutturazione che non sono tagli ai servizi, ma sono la loro ottimizzazione". Con queste parole il ministro della Salute, Renato Balduzzi, ha commentato la dichiarazione del Presidente del Consiglio Mario Monti, in diretta a 'Prima di tutto', trasmissione di Rai Radio1. Il ministro, inoltre, ha sottolineato però che nel caso in cui non si intervenisse attraverso una riorganizzazione complessiva del Ssn "dal 1 gennaio del 2014, sulla base di scelte effettuate nel 2011 dal precedente governo, noi avremo due miliardi di nuovi ticket aggiuntivi".
"Personalmente penso che questo non sia sostenibile. Sarebbe insostenibile per il sistema, insostenibile per i cittadini, insostenibile in sé in quanto incentiverebbe molti cittadini ad andare a cercare altri nuovi ticket - aggiunge Balduzzi - alcuni farebbero fatica a pagarli e quindi verrebbe messo in discussione proprio il loro accesso al diritto alla salute, altri andrebbero a cercarsi la soddisfazione delle prestazioni altrove, nel privato, e questo finirebbe per diminuire e indebolire il servizio sanitario nazionale".
