Palermo, 24 dic. - (Adnkronos) - "Ho appreso della protesta dei lavoratori del Teatro Biondo che lamentano il taglio dei finanziamenti da parte della Regione ed il presunto mancato versamento, da parte del Comune, dei fondi previsti per il 2012. L'Assessorato per la Cultura del Comune ha provveduto gia' da alcune settimane a disporre il pagamento di tutte le somme dovute al Teatro e, come i lavoratori sanno bene, si e' impegnato per sostenere questa importante istituzione culturale". Lo ha dichiarato Francesco Giambrone, Assessore comunale per la cultura di Palermo, commentando la notizia dell'Assemblea permanente indetta dai lavoratori del Teatro Biondo. "Basti ricordare che abbiamo trovato uno stanziamento di previsione di appena poche decine migliaia di euro e lo abbiamo incrementato ad un milione e mezzo, anche per il prossimo anno. I lavoratori del Teatro sanno bene che questa Amministrazione e' fortemente convinta del ruolo centrale che la cultura e le istituzioni culturali possono e devono svolgere per lo sviluppo della citta' e per la sua rinascita", ha concluso Giambrone.
