Damasco (Siria), 15 lug. (LaPresse/AP) - L'Iran è pronto a invitare a Teheran i rappresentanti dei gruppi di opposizione siriana e del governo di Damasco per colloqui. Lo ha detto il ministro degli Esteri iraniano Ali Akbar Salehi, secondo quanto riferisce l'agenzia di stampa Isna. Difficilmente i gruppi di opposizione accetteranno la proposta di Teheran, sia perché non hanno intenzione di confrontarsi e negoziare con i rappresentanti di Bashar Assad, sia per la vicinanza che l'Iran ha sempre dimostrato nei confronti di Damasco. La proposta, però, dimostra che l'Iran sta cercando di avere un ruolo più attivo nella mediazione della crisi, dopo la visita della scorsa settimana a Teheran dell'inviato speciale di Onu e Lega araba Kofi Annan.
