New York, 16 lug. - (Adnkronos) - L'attrice statunitense Celeste Holm, premio Oscar nel 1948 per ''Barriera invisibile'' con due nomination dell'Academy Award per i film ''Eva contro Eva'' e ''Le due suore'', e' morta nel suo appartamento di New York all'eta' di 95 anni per un attacco cardiaco. La notizia della scomparsa e' stata data dal marito Frank Basile, un cantante molto piu' giovane di lei sposato nel 2004, precisando che l'attrice un tempo biondo platino e dal sorriso dolce e rassicurante e' stata recentemente ricoverata per due settimane in ospedale chiedendo infine di far ritorno a casa per spegnersi accanto a parenti ed amici.
