(AGI) Arezzo - Anche la Toscana, e in particolare il territorio
di Arezzo che da sempre ne e' motore propulsivo, "oggi e'
fortemente provata dalla crisi economica". Lo ha sottolineato
Benedetto XVI nell'omelia della messa di questa mattina. "La
complessita' dei problemi - ha osservato -
rende difficile individuare le soluzioni piu' rapide ed
efficaci per uscire dalla situazione presente, che colpisce
specialmente le fasce piu' deboli e preoccupa non poco i
giovani". Secondo il Papa per uscire dalla crisi serve dunque
un cambiamento culturale profondo". Indicando in questo
contesto la necessita' e l'urgenza di una riscoperta dei valori
cristiani, il Pontefice ha ricordato che "l'attenzione agli
altri, fin da secoli remoti, ha mosso la Chiesa a farsi
concretamente solidale con chi e' nel bisogno, condividendo
risorse, promuovendo stili di vita piu' essenziali,
contrastando la cultura dell'effimero, che ha illuso molti,
determinando una profonda crisi spirituale". "Questa Chiesa
diocesana arricchita dalla testimonianza luminosa del
Poverello di Assisi, continui - ha auspicato Papa Rtazinger - a
essere attenta e solidale verso chi si trova nel bisogno, ma
sappia anche educare al superamento di logiche puramente
materialistiche, che spesso segnano il nostro tempo, e
finiscono per annebbiare proprio il senso della solidarieta' e
della carita'".
