Roma, 22 mar. (LaPresse) - Sono partiti questa notte dall'aeroporto di Brindisi i due marņ, Massimiliano Latorre e Salvatore Girone alla volta dell'India. Lo confermano fonti governative. Con loro il sottosegretario agli Esteri Staffan De Mistura. I due marņ saranno ospitati presso la nostra ambasciata a Nuova Dehli, in attesa del processo, in cui sono imputati per l'uccisione di 2 pescatori scambiati per terroristi, avvenuta in acque internazionali nel febbraio 2012. La decisione della loro partenza era stata comunicata ieri sera da Palazzo Chigi. I due si trovavano in Italia per un permesso elettorale, concesso dall'India.
I due marņ Massimiliano Latorre e Salvatore Girone dovrebbero atterrare a Nuova Dehli, attorno alle 11.30 ora italiana, le 16 in India. Lo riporta il sito della televisione indiana Ndtv. I due marņ saranno processati a Nuova Dehli e se condannati, in ogni caso non andranno incontro alla pena capitale, lo ha detto il ministro degli Esteri, Salman Khurshid. I due marņ non saranno nemmeno arrestati al loro arrivo, ma dovranno perņ vivere nella nostra sede diplomatica.
