ROMA (Reuters) - Un imprenditore di 41 anni è stato bloccato oggi dalle forze dell'ordine dopo aver cosparso di liquido infiammabile gli interni di una banca in un paese dell'Irpinia. Lo ha riferito la questura di Avellino.
L'uomo, un autotrasportatore, è entrato alle 8.30 in una filiale del Banco di Napoli di Mercogliano, portando con sé alcune bottiglie di diluente, ha detto un funzionario della questura.
L'imprenditore ha cominciato a inveire contro le tre dipendenti della banca, accusandole di aver mandato in protesto alcune sue cambiali, e ha cosparso di liquido infiammabile gli arredi. Le tre donne sono riuscite a fuggire e avvertire le forze dell'ordine.
Poco dopo, utilizzando una porta d'emergenza che era rimasta aperta, i carabinieri sono riusciti a bloccare l'uomo dopo che i pompieri hanno gettato acqua nei locali con una pompa.
L'autotrasportatore è stato trasferito in caserma, dove è in stato di fermo.
