E, considerando il Pil prodotto in un anno (dati 2010), le regioni del Nord Italia in classifica sarebbero prima di Polonia, Olanda, Belgio, Svezia e Austria. Con oltre 583 miliardi di Euro nel 2011, il Prodotto interno lordo prodotto dalle quattro regioni equivale al 40% del complessivo italiano. E' quanto emerge da un'elaborazione della Camera di commercio di Monza e Brianza su dati registro imprese, Istat e Eurostat, presentata oggi durante l'incontro tra il governatore della Lombardia Roberto Maroni e il sistema delle imprese brianzole alla Camera di commercio di Monza. Sempre secondo quanto si evince dall'elaborazione, un'impresa su tre attiva in Italia ha sede tra Lombardia, Piemonte, Veneto e Friuli. E il dato sale al 40% contando solo le imprese manifatturiere). "Un tessuto imprenditoriale - sottilinea la ricerca - che a marzo 2013 conta quasi 1,8 milioni di imprese, comunque ridotto dalla crisi di circa 38mila imprese in meno in 5 anni. Un territorio con una forte incidenza di imprese straniere che pesano sul totale nel nord il 9,4%, contro la media italiana che si attesta a 8,5%, ma con meno giovani che fanno impresa (il 9% sul totale, contro il 10,3% della media nazionale).
