ROMA (Reuters) - Il presidente del Consiglio incaricato, Enrico Letta, ha avviato alla Camera le consultazioni per la formazione di un governo di larghe intese con la delegazione di Sinistra ecologia e libert che ha confermato il suo no mettendo fine all'alleanza elettorale con il Partito democratico a due mesi dal voto.
"Non è un atto di ostilit verso Enrico Letta ma nei confronti di una rappresentazione della politica che non è in grado di vivere come un valore la contesa tra programmi diversi", ha detto Nichi Vendola riferendosi all'accordo tra il Pd e il Pdl di Silvio Berlusconi sul quale si fonder il nuovo esecutivo.
Parlando della ricorrenza del 25 aprile, Festa della liberazione dall'occupazione tedesca in Italia del 1945 e al ruolo svolto dal Comitato di liberazione nazionale (Cln), Vendola ha osservato che "il Cln era un luogo in cui convivevano diversit straordinariamente lontane e per certi versi inconciliabili. Solo un soggetto non c'era: i fascisti".
E ha aggiunto: "Se avessimo dovuto ispirarci a quella esperienza erano altri gli alleati da cercare visto che il nostro tema è uscire dal ciclo del berlusconismo".
All'ex alleato Letta, il Sel chiede il rifinanziamento della cassa integrazione in deroga, "la conclusione dell'emergenza esodati" e sottolinea "la necessit di riaprire i negoziati con l'Unione europea sulle politiche di austerity e i vincoli del Patto di stabilit ".
L'incontro tra Letta e il leader del Sel si è svolto nella sala del Cavaliere di Montecitorio.
Letta concluder le consultazioni nel pomeriggio con Pdl, Pd e Movimento 5 stelle.
Ieri il vice segretario del Pd ha promesso tempi rapidi per sciogliere la riserva con cui ha accettato l'incarico dal Presidente della Repubblica e ci si aspetta che torni al Quirinale entro la fine della settimana.

LONDRA (Reuters) - Il dollaro muove in calo nei confronti di euro e yen, colpito da una serie di dati poco confortanti sull'andamento dell'economia Usa, che stanno alimentando i timori riguardo la forza della ripresa della prima economia mondiale.
Intorno alle 10,40 l'euro guadagna lo 0,15% sul biglietto verde a 1,3034 dollari, dopo aver segnato ieri un minimo da quasi tre settimane a 1,2954. Il dollaro è in flessione dello 0,2% sulla valuta nipponica e passa di mano a 99,14 yen.
A marzo, hanno evidenziato i dati diffusi ieri, gli ordini di beni durevoli negli Stati Uniti hanno registrato il calo più marcato da sette mesi a questa parte, mentre il mercato del lavoro si è rivelato sottototono, e le vendite al dettaglio sono risultate deboli.
La risalita della valuta unica, tuttavia, pare destinata ad essere limitata dalle aspettative di un taglio del costo del denaro da parte della Banca centrale europea, sebbene gli operatori sembrano mostrare una maggiore cautela sull'azione di Francoforte.

Bruxelles (Belgio), 25 apr. (LaPresse) - Per la Commissione Ue "il rallentamento del consolidamento fiscale è possibile" grazie agli sforzi fatti dai Paesi dell'eurozona, alle misure della Bce e al rafforzamento della governance Ue. Lo ha detto il commissario europeo agli Affari economici e monetari, Olli Rehn, intervenendo di fronte Affari economici e monetari dell'Europarlamento. Quest'anno ha aggiunto Rehn "lo sforzo di consolidamento di bilancio sar dello 0,75% del Pil dell'eurozona", la met dell'1,5% del 2012 e inferiore all'1,75% degli Stati Uniti. Secondo Rehn l'attenuazione dell'austerit è resa possibile da "tre fattori" in particolare. In primo luogo "la crescente credibilit delle politiche fiscali che i singoli Paesi dell'eurozona hanno ottenuto nel 2011", in seconda battuta "dalle misure decisive prese dalla Banca centrale europea per stabilizzare i mercati" e in terzo luogo "dalla riforma della governance Ue che governance economica europea, che garantisce un quadro efficace per aggiustamenti di bilancio differenziati e l'avanzamento delle riforme strutturali". Grazie a questi fattori, ha sottolineato il commissario Ue, "abbiamo lo spazio per prolungare il tempo disponibile per gli aggiustamenti più a lungo termine, cosa che non era possibile nel 2010 e nel 2011 quando alcuni Stati europei erano in pericolo di insolvenza". Rehn ha tuttavia precisato che "il consolidamento fiscale rimane un ingrediente necessario" per la strategia economica dell'Ue.

I politici europei devono prendere misure decisive e durature per rafforzare le prospettive del continente per la crescita ed evitare rischi di stagnazione. E' il numero due del Fondo monetario internazionale, David Lipton, a sollecitare oggi in un discorso a Londra ulteriori riforme "per mettere la crisi nello specchietto retrovisore".
Lipton resta convinto che il risanamento dei conti debba essere condotto in modo da non frenare la crescita. Elogiati i passi importanti presi dall'Eurozona per far fronte alla crisi, però ha sottolineato che l'Europa sta rimanendo indietro rispetto agli Usa nella ripresa mondiale a tre velocit che è guidata dai Paesi emergenti e in via di sviluppo e ha quindi avvertito che il rischio di stagnazione non è remoto in una situazione di crescita debole, mercati frammentati, bilanci deboli e riforme completate a met .
Per evitare questo, l'Europa ha bisogno di muoversi su più fronti: da una parte i Paesi dovranno impegnarsi in modo chiaro e specifico sul consolidamento fiscale; dall'altra la Bce (Toronto: - ) dovrebbe mantenere il suo approccio molto accomodante. E anche un'azione sull'Unione bancaria sar essenziale per fronteggiare la frammentazione finanziaria, ha aggiunto, definendo la vigilanza unica bancaria un "passo chiave". Lipton si è detto comunque ottimista dal momento che l'Europa è stata ripetutamente all'altezza delle sfide su questioni difficili. Il Fmi resta quindi fiducioso che continuer a rispettare gli impegni presi.
