Milano, 18 giu. - (Adnkronos) - "Valencia non potrebbe rappresentare contrasto piu' grande con i circuiti cittadini precedenti: il tracciato e' molto veloce e le temperature sono alte, con una notevole energia che si scarica sugli pneumatici". Cosi' Paul Hembery, direttore di Pirelli Motorsport, introduce il Gran Premio d'Europa di F1 in programma domenica. "Ad accomunarlo, invece, agli altri e' la difficolta' di sorpasso, che rende le qualifiche ancora piu' importanti. Quindi ci aspettiamo una gara abbastanza lineare, con due o tre soste a seconda della tattica scelta dai team - anche se lo scorso anno una squadra opto' per una strategia ad una sola sosta", spiega ancora Hembery. "Le temperature dovrebbero essere costantemente alte per tutto il weekend, per cui non ci aspettiamo variazioni rilevanti da questo punto di vista. Per questa gara, abbiamo scelto la combinazione di pneumatici soft e medium, che ha dimostrato di essere un perfetto compromesso tra prestazioni e durata, consentendo ai piloti di sfruttare la velocita' di cui hanno bisogno, traendo pero' vantaggio, anche, dai lunghi stint di gara".
