(ASCA) - Roma, 23 gen - La Cgil e la Fiom Cgil esprimono ''grande preoccupazione per la situazione che si e' venuta a determinare nello stabilimento Ilva di Taranto in queste ultime ore''. E' quanto affermano in una nota il segretario confederale della Cgil, Elena Lattuada, e il segretario nazionale della Fiom, Rosario Rappa, al termine dell'incontro a Taranto sullo stabilimento siderurgico. Per i due dirigenti sindacali ''la difesa dell'occupazione, della produzione e dello stabilimento e' la condizione fondamentale per avviare il processo di bonifica e di risanamento del territorio tarantino, tutelando la salute dei cittadini e dei lavoratori''. Accanto a cio', aggiungono Lattuada e Rappa, ''ribadiamo l'assoluta necessita' degli investimenti da parte dell'impresa, anche con forme di intervento pubblico, che sono la condizione indispensabile per garantire non solo il futuro dell'occupazione, diretta ed indiretta, cosi' come per l'applicazione delle norme legislative a difesa della salute e dell'ambiente, evitando forzature che in queste ore potrebbero determinare una forte tensione sociale''. Su queste basi la Cgil e la Fiom hanno ''invitato il governo a proseguire e mantenere alto il livello di attenzione sulla situazione, a ricercare tutte le forme di collaborazione istituzionale, compresa la magistratura, per individuare le migliori soluzioni e, infine, a garantire tutta la strumentazione, anche con misure straordinarie, per sostenere reddito e lavoro all'insieme dei lavoratori, a partire da quelli che operano nell'indotto''. Infine, concludono Lattuada e Rappa, ''salutando con favore l'insediamento del garante e del commissario, ''auspichiamo, ed abbiamo gia' dichiarato la nostra disponibilita', il massimo della collaborazione per l'avvio dei lavori di bonifica del territorio e nel controllo costante dell'applicazione di quanto previsto dall'Aia''.
