Ue: Italia e Spagna si chiamano fuori da accordo su brevetto europeo

(ASCA-AFP) - Bruxelles, 31 mag - Italia e Spagna si chiamano fuori dal nuovo brevetto europeo, oggetto di una riunione a Bruxelles tra i ministri competenti. Roma e Madrid, infatti, da lungo tempo hanno posizioni contrarie al progetto di una cooperazione rinforzata sui brevetti a causa della decisione di tradurre i brevetti solo in tedesco, francese ed inglese. Cooperazione che pero' resta in alto mare per i forti contrasti, emersi anche oggi, tra Gran Bretagna, Francia e Germania sulla sede del futuro tribunale dei brevetti Ue. Il ministro degli Affari Europei francese, Bernard Cazeneuve, ha protestato contro l'oposizione di Londra e Berlino ''al compromesso raggiunto dalla presidenza polacca nel dicembre 2011, sostenuto da 23 stati membri, che prevede di assegnare la sede alla citta' di Parigi''. D'altra parte la Germania insiste sul fatto che Monaco sarebbe piu' idonea visto che e' gia' sede dell'Ufficio Europeo dei Brevetti. Il litigio ha suscitato l'irritazione del presidente della Commissione Europea, Jose Manuel Barroso, che ha chiesto di trovare rapidamente un compromesso giudicando ''intollerabile che un tema cosi' importante sia bloccato da un disaccordo cosi' marginale''. Se si dovesse trovare un accordo, per i brevetti europei ci sara' una cooperazione rafforzata tra 25 dei 27 paesi dell'Ue visto il 'no' di Madrid e Roma.
