looks like it's inside its pot


Once again, I wait until the plants are on sale to buy them for my flower garden. I get a good buy, too. But as I'm pulling them out of their pots I notice they all have the same condition. They're root bound. That means they've lived in their pots far too long. Their roots have intertwined and grown into themselves. They form a hard a ball that reflects perfectly the shape of the pot. In fact, when I carefully extract each plant from its container, it still looks like it's inside its pot.
