Netgear EVA2000, neat media player with HDMI

Netgear expands its EVA line of the little media player, Netgear EVA2000, which is a pretty jar you connect to your network and your TV to watch such movies from your computer.

Netgear have a bunch of different media players, whose purpose is to be able to use your TV to watch ibm 02K6507 digital photos, videos, music and so on. They serve as a link between your computer and home theater. One of the most advanced is the Netgear EVA9000.

Netgear EVA2000 is a smaller version, for those with basic requirements. The device looks like an ordinary router and connecting it to your network via Ethernet (or wireless USB dongle EVAW111, but WiFi is not all the best to stream movies). Your TV, connect via HDMI or composite. The ibm 02K6513 resolution is 720p.

By interface on the TV, you can then connect to various sources – your PC, Windows Media Player 11 (or later), UPnP AV and DLNA servers and so on. You can also connect an external hard drive or USB flash drive directly to the EVA2000.

It supports a variety of ibm 02k6580 formats:

Container Format: AVI, DivX 4.x, DivX 5.x, Xvid, MOV, MP4, MPEG2-PS, MPEG2-TS, DVD, VOB, FLV, Matroska, ASF

Audio: MP2, MP3, WMA, AAC, WMA Pro, WMA Lossless, WAV, LPCM, Vorbis, AC3, M4A, Dolby Digital

EVA2000 also lets you watch movies that you stream from the Internet. Via an interface on the TV, you could watch ibm 73h9552 YouTube clips and videos from a wide range of other video services.

Netgear EVA2000 Digital Entertainment Live is available in stores in late October, and will then have a target price of 1495 dollars.
