Use Spectrum Email Settings Outlook to Set up Outlook 2013, 2016, and 2019

Since most Outlook versions offer an automatic setup, we want you to learn both the manual process and the automatic setup. The following steps might vary depending on your MS Outlook version. Make sure you have your Spectrum email address and password ready before you delve deep and unravel the setup process. Automatic Configuration Process: Let’s start with the automatic configuration process to add your spectrum email account automatically.

• Launch Outlook and go to the “File” tab.
• Move to the “Info” category and click on the “Account Settings” option.
• From there, navigate to “Account Settings” (from the drop-down list).
• Next, you will need to select the “Email” tab and click on the “New” option.
• Under “Auto Account Setup”, in the section “Email Account” enter the following details –

• Enter your full name in the “Your Name” box.
• You will be prompted to provide your Spectrum Email Address and Password.
• “Retype Password” in the designated box to confirm it is the right password.

• Before clicking “Next”, select “Manual setup or additional server types”.
• Under “User Information”, enter the following details –

• Enter your full name in the “Your Name” box.
• Enter your Spectrum Email Address

• Under “Server Information”, you need to enter the server details based on your domain.
• Under “Logon Information”, enter the following information –

• Enter your full email address in the “User Name” text box.
• Enter your Spectrum email address password.
• Select “Remember Password” if you want Outlook to remember your Spectrum email address password.
• Select the check box “Require logon by using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)”

• Now, select “Test Account Settings”.
• Select “Next”.
• Select “Finish”.
