Good news for Mac users.
The firmware includes two sections; a second stage loader that sets up the environment in the FX2, and the real firmware that controls the camera. The firmware hex files can be found in the firmware directory. The firmware was extracted from the device by sniffing USB traffic. For more information on how the FX2 handles firmware, see the FX2 datasheet.

v 1.14 (November 2012) Posted 07 May 2016 – 11:20 AM Everything worked perfectly. Plate solving was quick and simple. Guiding and dithering worked well (guiding needs some fine tuning, but that is expected). Astrotelescope was very accurate with GoTos, if a bit lacking in the graphics dept. Syncing to a prior plate solve was trivial. Astroimager has some nice, relatively robust sequencing options. The flexibility and power of the INDI platform is impressive – the most difficult part is figuring out which ‘port’ a device is on. I commented on an INDI forum that in 30 years of owning Macs (started with the original 128k) I have NEVER had to deal with port issues. Its a small price to pay for ASCOM-equivelance. I could have also easily brought CDC and/or EQMAC into the fray if I wanted. – (1.11.2) Manual Guide dialog will now send commands even when guiding is active Posted 19 February 2017 – 01:59 PM CCDCiel is a CCD capture software intended for the amateur astronomer.
