Last week,  Alec Baldwin  was officially cleared of charges in the manslaughter case of cameraman Galina Hutchins on the set of the western Rust, and after that, the star's new acting project became known. According to Deadline, during the trial, the artist managed to play in the crime meta-comedy Hollywood Heist. The film also featured  Mickey Rourke ,  Tara Reid ,  Nick Cannon  and  Til Schweiger . Together with Baldwin, the first two embodied fictional versions of themselves. The plot centers on a powerful agent (Cannon) who needs to get star actor Alec Baldwin to keep a sinking production afloat. The fact is that the money for shooting the picture was stolen by some intruder, and only the participation of a celebrity can save the project. The cast also included Paul Sloan, Arman Nshanyan and Mike Hutton, who simultaneously acted as director of the tape - for him this is his directorial debut. Filming wrapped up this month. Production took place in Mallorca, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Like Baldwin, his colleagues Cannon and Rourke found themselves caught in the "cancellation culture" trap. The former drew public ire for ill-considered antisemitic comments from three years ago, while the latter was heavily criticized for praising director  Roman Polanski . Baldwin recently resumed work on the aforementioned western Rust.
