I bought this as a fan on Neneh Cherry’s work for many years more out of curiosity than anything else. It is worth a listen but really only as a curio for the fans because although I can see what she’s trying to do in trying to reach out to new fans with these reworks, some of them work and some of them just don’t in my opinion tho’if that’s the only album you buy if hers it’s worth then seeking out the original tracks that these versions originate from as the original tracks are waaaay better.
Las Ketchup – “Un Blody Mary” (Shaketown Music, 2006).

Las Ketchup es un grupo musical cordobés compuesto por las cuatro hermanas Muñoz (inicialmente Lucía, Lola y Pilar; y, a partir de 2006, con Rocío también). Erróneamente se ha relacionado a Las Ketchup con el guitarrista José Fernández “Tomatito”, cuando su padre real es el guitarrista cordobés Juan Muñoz apodado “El tomate”. Las hermanas eligieron como título de su primer álbum el nombre Hijas del Tomate en un juego de palabras que homenajeaba a su padre. Así pues, la infancia de estas cuatro hermanas se desarrolló en todo momento en un entorno musical.
