An uphill road for women and women: celebrating on March 8th with the artist Gentile Polo.

An uphill road for women and women: celebrating on March 8th with the artist Gentile Polo. If this year more than ever, among the data of femicide, the abuse of female students and the sexual scandal left with the American director Weinstein, the battle of women for their rights is very burning, "an uphill road", is It is important to have positive signals from the male world, even in this small regional reality of Trentino - Alto Adige. With the collection "Thoughts ... an uphill road" the author Gentile Polo lives in the first person and writes about the relationship with the woman world and does so through feelings and feelings, impulses and passions that are transmuted into letters and images. And the images, arising from the artist's secret archive of unpublished works and sketches, unfurled numerous and never predictable in the pages, to complete stories and suggestions. The images collected in the volume are shown page by page in rigorous black and white to give further space to the imaginative imagination of the reader, from the portrait of the industrious women of Erto, country of origin of the author's family, to the nature portrayed during the numerous travels and Gentile Polo's excursions, up to more conceptual and contemporary images. http://www.studio-martorelli.net/polo-gentile/ "Thoughts ... an uphill road" speaks of love and life, sometimes even of the death of love but always with hope in the future, because every woman is a different and unexplored reality, because the woman is a girl, woman, mother, lover but also a loved and desired daughter. Gentile Polo, therefore, deals with love under different facets, crossing it and experiencing it in first person and (why not?) Even undergoing it, because you have never prepared for love and, at any age, literally throws us into the arena, transforms us in teething teenagers, in a seagull that defies the storm. With his work "Thoughts ... an uphill road", already in the sales circuit but which will see the official release with the author in June 2018 at the Castle of Drena, the artist Gentile Polo wishes all women a Happy March 8th!
