Saturday 23 June 2018 from 18.00 will be held, as part of the exhibition ARRIA by Antonello Serra, the long-awaited MEETING WITH THE AUTHOR Gentile Polo of "Thoughts ... An uphill road" ("Pensieri... Una strada in salita"), published by Aletti Editore of Rome. The presentation will take place in the picturesque medieval rooms of Castel Drena, which in the Middle Ages was dominated by the road that connected the Sarca plain with the Valle di Cavedine and carried out the task of outpost on the crossroads of the north and control of the deep furrow excavated from the Rio Salagoni. The artist Gentile Polo will officially present to the public his book "Pensieri ... Una strada in salita", published in December 2017 by Aletti Editore of Altre Sembianza SrL, which will be read and interpreted by the well-known artist Alfonso Masi and, in the female voice, the niece of the author Claudia Romano. Special in the course of programming, but with Tuesday, April 10 I will be able to give you confirmation, will be the critical comment of Dr. Pietro Marsilli. As you probably already know, Dr. Pietro Marsilli (Bologna, 22nd January 1956) graduated in Modern History with honors from the University of Bologna and graduated in Archives from the State Archives of Bolzano, from 1981 to 1985 he was the first History and Italian culture at the Universities of Innsbruck and Salzburg and then obtain a chair in History of Art at the Institute of Arts in Trento. He collaborated with the International Museum of Ceramics of Faenza, the Centro Studi Ceramici of Albisola and the Biographical Dictionary of Italians of the Institute of the Italian Encyclopaedia "Treccani". Since 1987 he has been working as an investigator, essayist, lecturer and lecturer in conventions, training and specialization courses, collaborating with the Italo-Germanic Historical Institute, the Diocesan Museum and the Buonconsiglio Castle, the Province's Cultural Assessorships and different municipal administrations of Trentino. Since 2008 he has presided over the jury for the Consortium of Artistic Crafts in Trentino tasked with awarding the Excellence Marks, collaborating with RAI and the PAT Audiovisual Center, with the daily newspaper L'Adige, with the monthly magazine Uomo città territorio and the weekly Vita Trentina . For over twenty years he has taught History of Local Art at the University of the Third Age of Trento and is a member of the Academy of Agiati of Rovereto, of the Trentini Society of Historical Sciences and of the "Judicaria" Study Center.
