The record "Strisciona" comes back home, in the Badoere portrayed by Gentile Polo.

Sunday, April 29 at 11.00 back to home the "Strisciona", the record artist's book with its 186 meters made by a collective of artists including the painter Rotaliano Gentile Polo. It was the afternoon of 23 April 2015 when, under the Portico Nobile of Piazza Rotonda in Badoere di Morgano (TV), the collective work of the "Strisciona" was presented for the first time on the occasion of the UNESCO World Heritage Day of the book. The "Strisciona" is a collective and choral work born from the idea of a small group of mail - artists like Maria Teresa Cazzaro and Emanuela Marigo (PD), Walter Festuccia (Rome) and the President Nabila Fluxus Virginia Milici, who painted on a strip of recycled paper six meters long investigating the relationship between Art and social union, between artist and audience. The work liked to the point to decide to extend it to other artists, passing from six to thirty meters, then fifty up to the current 186 meters for one hundred and sixty four artists who, through word of mouth, from city to city participated by providing their contribution artistic, each on a meter of recycled paper and according to their artistic style, and then send by mail (basic requirement of the mail art) the roll to the sender. You want it that way
establish a significant exchange of their art to create a spontaneous communication path in which different actions and ideas meet and compare in new exhibition contexts outside the galleries and in direct contact with a large audience. (Maria Teresa Cazzaro, DODO/DADA ARTE POSTALE, 30 Aprile 2015)
In spezzoni the work has traveled through Italy by mail to return to Paese (TV) at the cultural association Art Gallery Museum Nabila Fluxus of Virginia Milici who has assembled the various polymaterial contributions in a Leporello, a great artist's book accordion, proposed for the Guinness Book of Records as Mail - Art / longest collective artist book and with the largest number of artists participating in the world. A fascinating artistic journey therefore, from artist to artist including the same Gentile Polo, who saw the "Strisciona" on display in the rooms of the old "Marconi" schools (23 April - 02 May 2015) and continued in other regions of Italy and abroad, and that will return Sunday, April 29 from where it left, that is at the headquarters of the Municipal Library of Badoere. On the occasion of the celebrations for the return home of the record work, the "Strisciona" will be officially donated to the town of Morgano (TV), of which Badoere is a fraction. The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Morgano, a country that officially inaugurated and measured the "Strisciona", applied to the Nabila Fluxus Association of Virginia Milici, who oversaw the project with the artists, for the donation of the work. The work will become part of the cultural heritage of the Badoere Library in the municipality of Morgano (TV), recorded and placed in a display case, visible and open to the public, in the Library or Municipality of Morgano (TV). We are all waiting for you to attend the official ceremony of donation of the record collective work "Strisciona" Sunday, April 29 at 11.00 am in the beautiful setting of the Piazza Rotonda di Badoere. At the end of the ceremony, the festivities will continue with a lunch to which you are all invited. "Piazza di Badoere", Gentile Polo (2014). http://www.studio-martorelli.net/polo-gentile/
