With "Prayer for Peace" a lung-ta ... long from the Himalayas to the Trentino Film Festival of the Mountain


Thursday, May 3, the rain did not discourage the organizers of "Prayer for Peace", the longest Tibetan flag at world, which saw the Art Studio Gentile Polo and a large audience attend its ufficial presentation. The presentation of the Prayer for Peace project within the Trentino Film Festival of the Mountain 2018 began regularly at 11.00 am in the Conference Hall of the Caritro bank in Via Garibaldi 33 (Tn - Italy) in the presence of the President of the Trentino Film Festival Mauro Leveghi, CAI (Italian Alpine Club) Alberto Rampini, the Museum Director MART Gianfranco Maraniello, the Director of the MART Archive of the 20th century Paola Pettenella and the representatives of the voluntary association Trentino for Tibet, the beautiful Tenzin Khando and the artist Lorenzo LOME Menguzzato. While the works of the 480 students from the art schools of Trento and Rovereto and Italian and international artists flowed in the background, there followed the ritual thanks and the actual presentation of the project of the long, the Tibetan flag for the peace. The record banner, consisting of the print of the works sent, will be exhibited in the Wood of the Poets of the Menguzzato Family, located between the municipality of Dolcè and its village Peri (Vr), while the originals will be donated to the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art MART of Trento and Rovereto; the reproductions will instead be printed in groups of fifteen works, for a better use by the user, and will be sold for charity purposes for the construction of a health clinic in Tuting, in the north-eastern Aruṇācal Pradeś area (in Chinese : Zangnan). Some of the participating artists could not miss the presentation: in addition to LOME, Tiziana Baracchi of the Iperspazialista Movement, Cassia Raad of FIDA Trento, Claudio Cavalieri of Event Art, Paul Sark, and the international painter Gentile Polo of the Studio d'Arte Gentile Polo of Roverè della Luna (Tn - Italy); Also present were Stefano Benedetti (multimedia artist), Luigi "Gigi" Zoppello, journalist of the local daily L'Adige, the well-known actor Alfonso Masi of the Academy of the Muses and the art critic and Artistic Director of the Galleria Ambasciata di Venezia - Garage N ° 3 Gallery in Mestre (Ve) Giancarlo Da Lio.
