The Studio d'Arte Gentile Polo is pleased to present the artistic event DIALOGHI CHROMATICI 5 + 5 (5 + 5 CHROMATIC DIALOGUES)!
From a long tradition of cultural and artistic exchanges between Lombardy and Trentino here are DIALOGHI CHROMATICI 5 + 5 (5 + 5 CHROMATIC DIALOGUES), which will see "dialogue" from 01st to 15th September 2018, with different color and professional skills, five artists from Trentino and five colleagues from Lombardy, all known both at a regional and international level.
And where to establish such an important dialogue if not in an equally historic setting such as the underground Archaeological Area of Palazzo Lodron in Trento (Italy)?
The Archaeological Area consists of a part of the ancient Roman Tridentum near the boundary walls (1st century BC - VII century AD)
"with one of the overhanging towers placed along the perimeter [...] The internal façade of the wall is built with stones and pebbles, we can see flat rows of bricks used at regular intervals, the pontoon holes are still visible to support the scaffolding at the time of construction. [...]
Beyond the paved road, there are the remains of some houses, including the latrine seat of a domus of the mid-imperial age (III-V century AD), which represents a unique.
Exceptional was the discovery of six barrels in negative (four visible in situ), which with the presence of a threshold, detect the function of the building as a caupona, shop for the sale of wine [...] In the sequence are present [ ...] a kitchen with adjoining pantry, rooms with floor system powered by two boilers and the presence of waste drainage channels. In this location the pictorial, sculptural and photographic works of the Trentino and Lombard artists who took up the challenge will be immersed:

DIALOGHI CROMATICI 5+5 waits for you from 01th to 15th September 2018 at the Lodron Palace Underground Archaeological Space (Piazza Lodron 31 Trento, Italy), open every day with hours: 10.00 - 12.00 / 14.00 - 19.00.
The exhibition is free and can be accessed by elevator (ask the caretaker).
