Christmas Dinner Friday, December 14th at the Studio d’Arte Gentile Polo in Rovere’ della Luna (Tn, IT), among friends with guest of honor, the poet Angelo Magro.
Immersed in the warmth of friendship, surrounded by pictures in full color by the guest artist Gentile Polo, which cover the high walls of his house – museum, the guests relaxed after the pleasantries to gather around the table.
Many topics were discussed during the evening, starting from the evening at Castel Pietra where the artist Gentile Polo presented the poet Walter Vettori on the occasion of the musical and poetic performance “Castelli di-versi”, returning the honor he had two weeks before on the occasion of the evening of “Pensieri … una strada in salita” (Thoughts… an uphill road), the last intimate work of the master.
Angelo Magro then asked the artist Gentile Polo for news about the upcoming group exhibition to be held in Spring with some Berlin artists who have painted on the former Berlin Wall.
From the first statements of his colleague Antonello Serra it seemed he would have left the burden of the organization to us, but already the day after the dinner he denied announcing on the phone that he had chosen the dates of exposure.
From the next exhibition to be organized we moved on to talk about those to see, such as the one dedicated to Jacopo Robusti Comin known as the “Tintoretto” (Venice, 1518/1519 – 31.05.1594) open until 06 January 2019 and set up between Palazzo Ducale, symbolic place of Venice as the seat of the Doge and local magistracies, and the Gallerie dell’Accademia di Venezia.
Also in the beautiful lagoon city is the interesting exhibition path “From Kandinsky to Botero, all in one thread” on display until March 30, 2019 in the elegant Zagure gothic palace (1353 AD) in Campo San Maurizio, where the master weavers of tapestries today’s reinterprets

The Christmas dinner then continued between a plate of Barilla sedanini sautéed in broth and sausage ragout, pork ribs and frankfurter inaffited by an excellent Teroldego Rotaliano, mixed salad with balsamic vinegar of Modena, puddings with cheese and pears and bacon with Sicilian garlic, coffee with chocolates and crunchy almonds and pistachios and toast with brut Müller Thurgau sparkling wine and panettone at the Grand Marnier covered with delicious chocolate.
If we were not all too satiated we would have done honor also to the delicious apple strudel of the poet guest Angel Magro …
But as the famous scientist Lavoisier said in the eighteenth century:
“Nothing is created, nothing is destroyed, everything is transformed”
