Women's Day: Happy March 8th by the artist Gentile Polo

In this 8 March 2019 the Gentile Polo Art Studio wishes to wish a Good Women's Day to all the readers and, virtually, to all the women who in the world struggle every day with the difficulties of life. Unfortunately, even this year only the news reports bring us back to a reality in which violence at every level makes it a common denominator. If we think only of cases not reported for fear or shame, that many countries, because they are very closed, or because Italian journalists prefer the inconsistent political soap opera, or because they are not relevant economically pass quietly, it is clear that the only cases in the news they do not even make the real number of the world situation in any way. That's why it becomes more and more important to celebrate March 8th the Woman with a capital "D", which encloses all of them. On this happy occasion, which should be repeated every day of life, the Rotalian artist Gentile Polo wants to dedicate one of the poems you find in his collection "Thoughts ... an uphill road" (Pensieri ... una strada in salita) published by the Aletti editions for the Salvatore Quasimodo competition 2018.
I MISS YOU I wish I could see you without veils at least once, as I am when I look at the sky. I would like to contemplate your furrow up inside the soul, because you can hear and, looking at the back of my eyes, touching our passions, at least for once belong to us that the last leaf has fallen.
To all the women of the world, a special wish for the Women's Day and a hope that life can give them a serene future and, as far as possible, better.     For those who are curious to know the author of the book "Thoughts ... an uphill road" (Pensieri ... una strada in salita) can meet him next April 5, 2019, from 18.00, at the memorial event "The wall to the wall" (Il Muro al muro), for the thirtieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, against every barrier.     The historical - artistic event "The Wall to the wall" (Il Muro al muro) will take place at the splendid Thun Palace (Belenzani Str. 19, Trento - Italy) under the patronage of the Municipality of Trento.
