New appointment with "Bellezze in piazza"(Beauties in the square) that sees splendid parade of historic cars along the wine route in Trentino (Italy).
The parade of "two and four wheeled beauties", organized by Roberto Tampella and the Basilisco Volley Oratorio parish association, started at 10.00 from the square of the industrial area of Mezzolombardo of the Bar Tondo to continue along the wine road towards Pressano, San Michele all'Adige and Mezzocorona.
The splendid "stars" have finally trod the red carpet in the square of the church of Mezzocorona amid the enthusiasm of the public of adults and children despite the uncertain weather.
One hundred historic cars of every brand, model and color entered the event under the watchful eye of the popular and technical Jury, including the Trentino Karting driver and racing cars Gabriella Pedroni, from the top of the bay of the "Bar en piaza ".
The elegant conclusion of the fashion show saw the reunion of the historic four-wheeler participants in the courtyard of the elegant Villa Martini to allow the public to fully enjoy the collective exhibition.
Guest at the exhibition in the courtyard of Villa Martini was the international artist Gentile Polo, who in addition to exhibiting a sample of his multi-faceted art lent enthusiastically to portray the shiny historic cars of the proud drivers who requested them.

Following the lunch offered by the organizers of the "Bellezze in piazza"(Beauties in the square) event, the symbolic awarding of historic cars was held around 3:00 pm, a difficult choice given the fascination that each model in the race transmitted. We list below the positions held by the winners taken directly from the official page:
- First classified: Alexander Ringler, with a Ford Mustang convertible;
- Second classified: Rolando Bolner, driving a Fiat 1100 Musone;
- Third place: Andrea Bezzi and his Maserati 2.24 v.
The following are the awards for:
- FIAT 124 classification: Roberto Tampella with a 124 Spider;
- FIAT 500 classification: Mirko Martintoni with the 500 F.
At the end, the rarest machine of the "Bellezze in piazza"(Beauties in the square) 2019 edition, that is the Citroen H Diane 2 hp truck by Maurizio Gottardi, was awarded.
Under a lenient sun, the awards ceremony began at the end of the audience's warm applause, compliments for the organization by the Trentino pilot Gabriella Pedroni and by the Rotalian artist Gentile Polo and friend Roberto, who to the young sports driver, remembering with pleasure when as a child he already saw her compete with the Go-carts under the proud eyes of her father.
Despite a small initial misunderstanding that saw the occupancy of car parking spaces reserved for participants by the public, the 2019 edition of the Mezzocorona historic car show "Bellezze in piazza"(Beauties in the square) was a success, with participation, audience, sponsor and , no less fundamental, guaranteed fun!
