Ferrara: Art and conferences for Souls without a voice


The Gentile Polo Art Studio presents the IV edition of Anime senza voce (Souls without a voice), the charity event that, under the guidance of president and artist Brigitte Ostwald, lands this year in the city of Ferrara for the fight against child abuse. Presented Tuesday 17 September 2019 in the municipal residence, the Department of Commerce and Tourism Matteo Fornasini thanked the participants and collaborators

The Culture Councilor Marco Gulinelli also pointed out how

Also present at the presentation were the Associazione Gobetti-Matteotti-San Romano in the persons of Franca Arca and Giorgio Ferroni, the presidents Anna Maria Quarzi of the Institute of Sontemporary History, Emanuela Sgroi of the juvenile Chamber of Ferrara, the journalist Camilla Ghedini and the Acaref association represented by with Giampietro Domenicali and the same Brigitte Ostwald:

The artistic manifestation Anime senza voce (Souls without a voice) kicked off Thursday evening with a hearty dinner on the street to involve citizenship. The dinner was organized under the beautiful arcade of Via Gobetti by the Associazione Gobetti-Matteotti-San Romano accompanied by the concert "La Maquina Parlante" of the Jazz Club of Ferrara and the Vintage Dj set by Matteo Scaioli, which blends electronic and ancient gramophones to crank. Today, Friday 20, at 10.00 am, the Ferrara Diamanti Lions Club presented the New Voices award to Nedda Alberghini Po and Brigitte Ostwald who brought the charity event to Ferrara in the council hall of the Palazzo Comunale; from 3.00 pm at Palazzo Crema it will be possible to attend the conference "Abuse and violence against minors". The conference will compare the psychologist Valentina Conti with the lawyer Luciana Sergiacomi of the lower Chamber of Padua and the journalist Camilla Ghedini on international conventions and testimonies of child abuse; the moderator of the discussion will be the president Emanuela Sgroi of the Ferrara Minor Chamber. From 18.00 at the Galleria Matteotti will open the collective exhibition, now in its fourth edition, with performances by Silvia Bottoni and Austrian singer-songwriter Robert "Kravallo" Maier and the Austrian director Reinhard Auer, introduced by film critic Vito Contento.

(In photo: two of the works on display, "La Ruota gira" and "Radici" by the master decorator Gentile Polo)   Part of the works will be auctioned on Saturday 21st September from 8.00 pm, during the gala dinner at the Palazzo della Racchetta, and the proceeds will be donated entirely to the ACAREF Onlus Foundation of Ferrara in support of research and construction of a house for people with disabilities . Saturday, September 21 will be available from 10.00 also the workshops for children of #MeKaterina at the gallery of the Art exhibition, to the Grotte del Boldini (Caves of Boldini) instead will be held for adults cultural poetry readings by Micaela Zambardi, Sara Letizia, Raimondo Galante and Maurizio Ganzarli. From 11.00 am at the Matteotti Gallery, the critic Dr. Marco Fusaroli will present the exhibited artists, while from three in the afternoon the children will be able to participate in mini-basketball tournaments and watch paralympic bowls tournaments. Also on Saturday afternoon, from 4.30 pm the actress Alma Cattleya will entertain the audience with a performance, while from 17.30 at Crema Palace will be presented and read some excerpts from the book "5 years" by the author Giancarla Melecci. In the evening at 20.00 at the Palazzo della Racchetta (Racket Palace) there will be a gala dinner with the performance "Fior d’asfalto" by Antonella Turci and the charity auction. Sunday, September 22 from 10.00 am the workshops for children of #MeKaterina continue at the Matteotti Gallery, while at the Grotte del Boldini (Caves of Boldini) the organizer Brigitte Ostwald will interview some of the artists present. From 11.00 am at Crema Palace the writer Raphaella Angeri will present her book "A little girl to save" with the intervention of the forensic psychologist Dr. Marica Malagutti, while from 4.00 pm poetry will be read with Micaela Zambardi, Sara Letizia, Raimondo Galante , Maurizio Ganzaroli, Roberto Gamberoni. From 17:30 Ganzaroli will perform the performance "Colpevole di Innocenza"(Guilty of innocence) at the Boldini Caves. Finally, on Sunday 22nd, the Finissage of the event will be held from 6.30 pm at the Matteotti Gallery, with the awarding of the artists voted by the public.
