Painting the sacred space is not for everyone, due to the complexity of combining their artistic talents, the tastes of the client and the knowledge in the religious field, which set some limits within which the artist can go.
The art masters Bruno Degasperi (Civezzano, 1944) and Angelo Orlandi (Limarò di Lomaso, 1943) have been able to combine all those characteristics in their long career.
Bruno Degasperi, whom I had the pleasure of meeting through his former student Gentile Polo (Mezzolombardo, 1954), was a teacher at the Alessandro Vittoria State Institute of Art and had the opportunity to specialize in the fresco technique at the Magisterium of Art from Venice.
Thanks to this technical knowledge, the possibility of collaborating with some employees in the construction sector and meeting with the right contacts has

Colleague Angelo Orlandi taught Plastics Disciplines at the at the State Art Institute in Gargnano of Garda and later in Plastic and Visual Education at the at the State Art Institute of Trento (IT).
Appreciated painter by the master Pietro Annigoni, he frescoed various churches in the Trentino region, such as that of Ravina.
The two masters gathered in these days to exhibit together in the art exhibition Dipingere lo spazio sacro (Painting Sacred Space) in the hall of the Marcello Fogolino Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery in Trento.

The Art exhibition Dipingere lo spazio sacro (Painting Sacred Space) compares two very different artistic masters: the artist Bruno Degasperi is as immediate, lively and contemporary as his colleague Angelo Orlandi is classic and delicate.
For both of them it is possible to admire preparatory sketches, definitive pastel tables of the projects presented and “completed”, which in my opinion are the most interesting part of an artist’s work, as they give greater awareness and awareness of the long work hides behind a finished and apparently … simple work.

At the inauguration of Friday 20 September, in the presence of the Dean of the Chapter Don Maule, the President U.C.A.I. (Italian Artists Catholic Union) Trento Giuseppe Calliari presented the video “Traces U.C.A.I. in the churches of Trentino ”with recent works by Marco Bertoldi, Carlo Bonacina, Mariano Fracalossi, Ezio Miorelli, Corrado Scarpa, Cesarina Seppi.
The inauguration of the exhibition Dipingere lo spazio sacro (Painting Sacred Space) was also appreciated by visiting artists, such as Annalisa Lenzi (Trento, 1982), wearing one of her creations (black and white fascist sheath dress signed in yellow Annalisa Lenzi, military jacket with wings of white veil along the arms and white clutch with star and theme jaws).

Even the Rotalian artist Gentile Polo warmly congratulated his former professor Bruno Degasperi.
When the then student worker Gentile Polo had to present his superiors in a single year as a private student, they directed him to the drawing by professor Bruno Degasperi: seeing the master’s skill, at first the young Polo was almost demoralizing except then, encouraged , he made history by graduating, opening his own decoration company to get to the activity of full-time artist.
Hearing the two artists exchange these little memories was curious and exciting, stories that intertwine in the long journey of life …
