“Racchette al chiodo” (Rackets hanged on the nail) Art exhibition will be on display from 25th to 27th October 2019 at the Golden Beach Tennis Club of Desenzano del Garda (Italy).

The event is a framework and cultural enrichment for the men’s tennis Master Grand Prix Over (Over 50, 55, 60 and Over 65) tournament with
“Points valid for the Fit ranking, including a 15pt bonus for each match won (for a maximum of 30pt).”

The tennis tournament is taken as an example of a current and living activity that often leaves an instrument abandoned, both when it ends up increasing the garbage and when it is hung up as a memento.
The event “Racchette al chiodo” (Rackets hanging on the nail) wants to ask itself as a question:
“Is it possible to think of transforming and giving new life to an object with technical features so specifically functional, intended for a purpose defined in detail, which is a tennis racket? “
Art accepts the challenge and tries to reinterpret this sporting and design object by re-organizing it into a new life, imbuing it with new, personal and personal emotions of each artist participating in the event.
It is a metaphor of life, even that of the athlete, in continuous evolution and transformation.
Each racket is a unique piece, because unique and special pieces are the supports, the rackets, collected, for this occasion, from the cellars of the members of the “Spiaggia d’Oro” tennis club in Desenzano del Garda, objects that tell the story of the tennis, and its technological evolution, of the last 40 years, donated and entrusted to the artists to dedicate them to this project.

Among the artists participating in the initiative:
the photographer and ceramist of Peruvian origins Carmen Luzzardi with “Having fun”, the Dutch painter Moira Linda Toussaint with “Flying balls”, the designer Liala Polato with “Destructuring”, the painter Nadia Soardi with “Abstract”, the artist of the Little Man Sarah Mutinelli with “Ominomaniacal”, Francy Kiara with “The chicken or the egg is born first?”, the dreamlike watercolorist Beatrice Zanardelli, the restorer Gabriella Caobelli with a live performance, and the same Antonella Bosio with the works ” sky in color I & II ”,“ freshwater fish ”and“ abstract ”.

Among the men, it will be possible to admire “The importance of the sign is the name” of the young Gianluca Guandalini, two works by the illustrator Michele Avigo with “Vintage” and “Woman”, Marco Onorio whose works “are characterized by their use symbiotic fiberglass mesh and a foam of his own creation “(from amafestival.it) with” Beyond the mesh”, the sculptor Paolo Puddu with” NET “and the master decorator Gentile Polo with the Kenton Dunlop Light wooden racket 3 “Inside the mystery”.
