On display the DIALOGO CON LA NATURA (DIALOGUE WITH THE NATURE) by Claudio Cavalieri at the Spazio Foyer in Trento from November 8th to 22nd!
The exhibition, organized in a short time to replace a colleague, anticipates the anniversary of the artist Cavalieri, who will celebrate his 50-year career in the art world in 2020.
“Dialogo con la Natura (Dialogue with Nature) is a material and three-dimensional immersion in the deliberately small-scale works that reveal the artistic evolution from the seventies to the present.
Claudio Cavalieri (Trento – Italy, 1950 -) graduated from the Art Institute Alessandro Vittoria of Trento and began teaching on-site Art Education in 1977.
Thanks to a scholarship awarded by the Municipality of Trento to young artists in 1986, he entered the world of sculpture in a Faenza studio, emphasizing his already strong artistic three-dimensionality.
The pictos – sculptures of knights come to life from wooden materials, branches and roots of various kinds that are reworked briefly and generally painted in shades of blue, yellow, green, rarely lilac.
“My contemporary intervention is to make the very pasty and lumpy color of bright colors and often with cool shades that regenerate the work, giving it a new life.” (Claudio Cavalieri, from Megaart.it)
Even the reuse of boxes, tools and ancient tools of peasant use in the Alps combine to make the works of art of the Trentino artist suggestive, which boasts exhibitions throughout Italy and abroad, including Wüppertal, Hamburg and Templin in Germany, Vienna (Austria) and Zalaegerszeg in Hungary.
“Claudio Cavalieri, who perceives in wood the imprint of a powerful life capable of beating all pitfalls, collects fragments and rejected scales, lost residues rejected by the race of civilization.
On them then, a transformation takes place that passes through a special form of respectful love, suspended between a high metaphysical dimension that touches allusion on mysticism and a playful evocation that inspires him to compositions often similar to mysterious and elementary toys of another world .
In his compositions, therefore, the expressions of a free and virgin spirit like that of a child coexist, and the inclination to consider wooden waste as an absolutely living element.

During the exhibition DIALOGO CON LA NATURA (Dialogue with Nature) at the Spazio Foyer in Trento, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 4.00 pm it will be possible to participate for free in the painting workshops that the artist Cavalieri will hold in collaboration with the master of decoration Gentile Polo, on natural materials (paper and artificial marble).

The exhibition, welcomed by a large audience, was enlivened by Alessia Cavalieri’s powerful blues voice accompanied by the guitar of the young Francesco Ober.
The Finissage of the event will take place Friday, November 22nd from 16.00 and will see the awarding to a lucky audience by lottery of a work by the artist Cavalieri.
DIALOGO CON LA NATURA (Dialogue with Nature) therefore awaits you at the Spazio Foyer of Trento (Via Galileo Galilei, 26) from 4.00 pm for a party of Art and Nature. Do not miss!
