THE POLO IN RAVENNA FOR THE CHARITY CHRISTMAS AUCTION

The Christmas of children in difficulty is colored with hope through the charity auction of works of art that the Association ANIME SENZA VOCE (SOULS WITHOUT VOICE) by Brigitte Ostwald activated until 5 January 2020. The "Anime senza voce" (Souls without voice) non-profit association has been operating since 2016 to actively channel the art world towards constructive and significant issues of raising public awareness of family situations with children in difficulty. The awareness raising takes place through itinerant themed exhibitions and charity auctions of works of art made available by the artists themselves and the proceeds of which are paid to non-profit organizations and associations engaged in the field of children in distress. For Christmas 2019, the "Anime senza voce" (Souls without voice) non-profit association has partnered with the Trattoria restaurant in Lido of Dante (Ravenna) for high-quality art exhibitions, starting with the photographic exhibition Kintsugi meets black&Black. Kintsugi meets black&Black brings together the works of the photographer Dany Preyer who investigate the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi to repair the ceramic with lacquer and pure gold to emphasize the historicity of the object, with black and white photos of the Bolognese designer Leonardo Cuccoli that sinks objects into the darkness and makes them emerge only with short blades of light. The photographic exhibition "Kintsugi meets black&Black" inaugurated on 6 December will be accompanied until 5 January 2020 by the exhibition of works of art granted by Italian and international artists for the charity auction for children in difficulty. Among the available pieces, it is also possible to admire the three-piece work by the Trentino artist Gentile Polo "Unstructured landscape", with a strong emotional and chromatic impact. The work created on several levels on wood creates and fragments the light in its primary colors in the continuous search for the purest essence of reality. As the soul of children is fragmented by violence, the "Unstructured landscape" also appears in the form and it is up to the observer to reconstruct the material meaning in the patient passage of time in which the work is revealed level after level. Even the black background from which the fragments of the "Unstructured landscape" emerge is pervaded by material waves that twist and expand like an emotional abyss that captures us and pushes us into the ocean of possibilities from which it seems that we cannot find a landing. But it is the same apparent black, created by overlapping the three primaries that regulate the optics of the colors according to the lesson of the Russian artist Malevich, which suggests the illusory nature of the whole, nothing is as it seems because finally we ourselves make sense of things to life and darkness as we can get out of the patterns.   In photo: work "Unstructured landscape" by the master Gentile Polo, from 2015 in acrylic and multi-material on wood (61.5 x 91.5 cm).   The work "Unstructured landscape" (61.5 x 91.5 cm) by the master Gentile Polo will remain on display in Ravenna, at the Trattoria restaurant in Lido of Dante (Ravenna, Via Marabina 133. Tel. 377 531 3333) until January 6 for Anime senza voce and it will be possible to make an offer proposal also online at the following address: info@animesenzavoce.com The proceeds of the offer will be donated entirely to charities to communities with children in difficulty, this year to the communities of the hamlet of Fosso Ghiaia and Classe in Ravenna (Italy). For this Christmas, give a smile to children in difficulty and choose your work of art under the tree. Don't wait, participate until January 5, 2020 in the charity auction of ANIME SENZA VOCE (SOULS WITHOUT VOICE) and write to info@animesenzavoce.com
