WITH THOMAS DADDEZIO IN MARCH POETRY SEARCHES FOR… CHANGE

On Saturday 5 March 2022, the South Tyrolean writer Thomas Daddezio will present his latest poetic collection “Cambiamento” (Change) at the Kunst Grenzen room in Rovere della Luna (Tn). The “Cambiamento” (Change) is the common thread that, through the chapters The scattered sunsets, The colors of time, Diamonds and New horizons, accompanies the author's inner journey from the first youthful experiences to the contemporary: love, loss, loneliness, the indifferent chaos of city traffic, the poet's gaze turned to the moon and the universe, Nature wounded and offended but always strong and wonderful from which to start again with gratitude for a new contact with one's own intimate essence and rebirth. The final message leaves no doubt:

“Never miss

Hope at dawn

To live one day

In a better future ... "

Born in Bolzano in 1975, after ups and downs and a deep youthful sentimental wound, Thomas Daddezio soon began to put his feelings on paper, taking Giuseppe Ungaretti as his ideal teacher, whose expressive depth combined with stylistic essentiality he admired. He participates in the Poetry Group 83, subsequently to Poeti d ’Unterland then the cultural circle of Lettera 7. Mistilingue, he already has numerous publications in Italian to his credit, of which “Cambiamento” (Change) is his latest editorial effort.

If God or humanity ask me what poetry means to me: to express the depth of my mind, my spirit and my heart with beautiful words, then humbly will be my answer.

This book is the essence of my life.

The author will be presented by "the alchemist of the word" Angelo Magro, referent for the "Poets" sector Kunst Grenzen, while the theater actress Maria Pia Zanetti, collaborator with the RAI headquarters who with the Teatro Stabile of Bolzano, will read the critical text alla silloge created by Italo Bonassi, President of the Poetry Group 83, vice-president of the Trentino committee of the Dante Alighieri National Society and member of the Cenacle of Dialectal Poetry in Verona with two career awards, in 2006 by the Ettore Cozzani Artistic Literary Cenacle of La Spezia and in 2012 of the Literary Artistic Cenacle Val di Magra Roberto Micheloni (Massa Carrara).

The editorial event “Cambiamento” (Change) is organized in collaboration with the Cultural Association Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera aps, Event Art, Municipality and Pro Loco of Rovere della Luna, Cooperative Credit Bank CR of Rovere della Luna and Radio Music Trento and it will take place as part of the photographic exhibition "Vite infrante"(Broken Lives) by the photographer Chiara Manente and the writer Claudia Vazzoler aimed at the artistic dialogue against violence against women.

Thomas Daddezio will complete the project in his own way with the vision of the other "half of the sky" by announcing that a change is possible for all those who want to hear and assimilate the message, which is personal as it is the poet who gets naked and suffer the adversities told in the sylloge, but it is universal due to its continuous dialogue between oneself and the other from oneself who is the reader and the wider audience who will want to hear. On the occasion of the editorial presentation, it will be possible to purchase the volume "Change" with a personalized dedication by the author. The collection CAMBIAMENTO, published by TGbook edizioni (2022), consists of a hundred poems in Italian expressed with an elegant and refined lexicon, and boasts the introduction to the text by Italo Bonassi as well as an afterword by the Persian poet Nina Sadeghi . The opening to the public will take place on Saturday 5 March 2022 from 6.00 pm at the Sala Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera (IT, Tn - 38030 Rovere della Luna, Villotta Str. 7/A).
