Giorgio Gaber (Tribute to) Saturday 21 May 2022 at the Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera Gallery in Rovere della Luna (Trento, Italy) with Dallago and Lauri!
Gaber (or Mister G) was among the first interpreters of the theater - song in the 60s of the twentieth century:
"The end of the 1960s was an extraordinary period, full of tension, of desire, beyond the political and non-political events that we know, and making television had become disqualifying. I was a little sickened by a certain formula, its limitations of censorship, language, expressiveness were tight on me, and then I said to myself: okay, I did this job and I was successful, but now I would like to put some conditions. It seemed to me that theatrical activity regained meaning in the light of my rejection of a certain narcissism. " (Giorgio Gaber, Art. Of G. Harari in Rockstar of January 1993).
Born in Milan but of Triestine origins (in the century Giorgio Gaberščik), among the artists of the time, he obtained the highest number of awards from the Tenco Club (Sanremo, 1972) which promoted author music.
Claudio Dallago will give life for one evening to the atmospheres of the well-known singer-songwriter from Mezzolombardo (Trento, Italy), with the notes of his guitar and a voice that Gino Castaldo would define as "turned like a stone sculpture that miraculously flies on the lightness of the instruments" (A voice that still flies on the falsehoods of the world, Art. by Gino Castaldo of 24 January 2003) so similar to the original.
The thematic recitative by the multifaceted Alenis Lauri, born in Gorizia, poet and artist like his father Valter and honorary member of the cultural association Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera aps, will be the interlude to the songs.
The musical event "Homage to Giorgio Gaber" is curated by the artist Paolo Frizzera and will take place as part of Claudio Cavalieri's Personal Flash 4 art exhibition, both created in collaboration with the Municipality and Pro Loco di Rovere 'della Luna, Cassa Rurale Rotaliana and Giovo, Event Art and RMT - Radio Music Trento by Vito Nomade.
