Women's Day 2024 with the fantastic world of "Lena and the golden roses" at the Kunst Grenzen Gallery!

Women's Day 2024 with the fantastic world of "La Lena and the golden roses" by the Trentino author Paola Gabrielli yesterday, Saturday 9 March, at the Kunst Grenzen gallery in Rovere della Luna!
“… I was in Rovereto and I was struck by the waters of the Leno stream, by its colour”
Thus, from the author's fervent imagination, the mysterious and fascinating Spirit of Lena was born. The new story by the writer Paola Gabrielli is revealed in the structure of the fable which pretends to be an ancient legend to tell the young reader about a beautiful girl with skin as white as milk and long, thick emerald hair, a mysterious creature who appears to the rescue of pregnant women in difficulty. The Lena, this is the name of the magical creature, helps young mothers and unborn children with her powers, but in exchange asks a very high price from those who receive her favors: the saved children must follow her, vanishing from the world in their form human to become splendid golden roses that nourish the powers of the mysterious girl. One day a beautiful and fascinating traveler comes to the rescue who will intertwine his life with that of the mysterious Spirit, giving rise to the golden oak, symbol of the city of Rovereto. Through delicate pastel illustrations drawn by the author herself and a simple and engaging narrative, the reader is guided through the story, a prelude to an educational sector of the volume where one can learn the difference between good and evil, vices and virtues, while having fun, because
“life is an adventure, and learning to fight vices with virtues is the secret to becoming a true hero in everyday life!”
Paola Gabrielli was born and raised in Cles (Val di Non), graduated in Trento in Modern Literature with an artistic focus and attended the two-year post-graduate para-university course for Archivists at the School of Archival, Paleography and Diplomatics of the State Archives in Bolzano – Staatsarchiv Bozen – Archif de Stat da Balsan. She cultivates numerous passions, including dance and Aura Soma with Francesca Miceli's "Il mondo di Lilith" company and Cristina Maida's ATS (American Tribai Style) dance company, she sings in the Monteverdi della Val di Non choir directed by maestro Maurizio Postai . She is a member of the Arzberg Valle di Non APS-ETS Cultural Historical Group which organizes historical re-enactments, theatrical performances, dinners, dances and weddings set in the Renaissance and nineteenth-century era and carries out voluntary work in retirement homes. As an artist and writer she is part of the cultural association Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera aps in Rovere della Luna and of the Writers Association of Bolzano.
