I would like to tell you fables and leave you
flying alone … to swim over time;
I would like to see you cross borders
that only the sighted do not see,
because they pass through mirages
anchored to humans,
with feet planted in the earth;
I wish I could observe you,
as only the dreamy saints do
or the smaller masters,
that do not feel the weight of so many thoughts
and joyful forever
allargan the loving arms
to make you feel good,
because every day that arrives
perfumes, already from awakening,
of the game of the past day,
chasing that wind that sometimes
ripples.
It is the lifeblood
that sometimes envelops and protects us.
Instead everything happens alone,
we can only accept it
for what it is.
t is a problem of faith,
that we must find.
Then, yes, the tumult that moves is welcome
and it drives us to go far,
opening the door to a different world,
that the eyes and the mind
they first discover strangers,
but after they search with obsessive hunger
to live better.
You do not have to do anything
that is not inside the breath
or glued to the colors of the meadows,
or from admirable agreements that are uncertain
they move sweets
and find their energy
fishing from the heart,
or that stupendous wave that you cite,
that I imagine, when he takes you,
it lifts you up and makes you twirl
looking stern
but, after the first moment,
returns to being the sea,
from which you emerge strongly
every day different.
For this you do not need to run away
or be afraid of being
a little stranger.
Pursued by a benign shadow,
we all come back to being
what we are,
naked,
without prominent skin,
a little weaker
for the many fears
that often oppress us,
created by whom
has the real advantage
to want us defenseless,
even if we do not like it.
