At Christmas we PRESEPIAMO (crib) in the Gallery with the Kunst Grenzen-Arte di confine Cultural Association!
From November 28th to January 5th 2021, the private gallery Kunst Grenzen-Arte di confine of the artist Gentile Polo opens its doors to the public for a magical exhibition of artistic nativity scenes from all over Trentino – Alto Adige (Italy).
“Presepiamo” brings together in a large room more than thirty different Nativity scenes, which only in technique range from sculpture to painting, to minature.
Entering the Kunst Grenzen Gallery one is pleasantly enveloped by the scent of the pine wood of the carvings by the sculptor Sandro Scalet, while the view is struck by the electric blue comet that wraps in the background a Holy Family made of light by the painter Paolo Ober.
Once the first impact of the senses is overcome, an incredible world of historical elevations of the village opens up, created in perfect scale by the Piana Rotaliana Cultural Association created with their founder, the artist Gentile Polo.
And then Alpine nativity scenes in wood and stone huts and suggestive tree root caves to welcome the Nativity with shepherds, peasants, artisans of all kinds and farm animals and traveling camels.
For those who would add a bit of contemporary spice to the tradition, they will be satisfied with the landscape-Vertical Nativity scene by the artist Claudio Cavalieri who has chosen the triangle shape as an expression, the oval shape is preferred by the sculptor Livio Bregantini, while the circle is chosen as a base and support from the “maniacal” OMINO Nativity by Sarah Mutinelli.
And then hanging nativity scenes, in lanterns, in bark, medieval castles and a splendid Neapolitan elevation (yes, we do not miss anything!) by Sergio Ferrara, from Borgo Valsugana.
For those who are still not satisfied, a collection of Italian and foreign vintage greeting cards also makes a fine show in the room.
The Christmas exhibition PRESEPIAMO is organized by the cultural association Kunst Grenzen-Arte di frontiera in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Rovere della Luna and will be open from 28 November to 5 January 2021 every Saturday and Sunday at the following times:
- SATURDAY (15.00 – 19.00)
- SUNDAY (10.00 – 12.00 / 15.00 – 19.00)

Due to the anti-covid-19 restrictions, it is not possible to inaugurate the exhibition with the traditional collective opening event, but it is possible to visit the event from the first Saturday 28 November during the gallery time indicated above!

In the event of high public turnout, the access groups will be staggered in order to allow everyone to visit safely, in full compliance with the anti-covid-19 ministerial regulations.
The room is also accessible to people with walking difficulties.
