The new stage of the “Invisible civilization” exhibition of the Sardinian artist Antonello Serra arrives in Nogaredo, which received the visit of his colleague and friend Gentile Polo on Sunday 15th.

The exhibition, included in the Nogaredo exhibition in September, was inaugurated on September 5th in the bright rooms of Candelpergher Palace.
The personal exhibition was curated by Maurizio Scudiero in the critical part and Nicola “Nico” Cicchelli in the exhibition part and saw the welcome collaboration of the Anziani e Pensionati Group “La Sorgente” (Seniors and Pensioners Group “The Source”) in organizing the refreshments offered to the guests of the inauguration.

The personal exhibition turns to the last stages of the celebrations of the artist Antonello Serra for his 30 years of artistic activity.
With invisible civilizations the archaic symbolism of the ancient nuragic peoples lives again and is extrapolated into a new contemporary significance, telling the Sardinian soul of an artist who had emigrated to our Trentino land for many years.
He could not help supporting his friend Antonello Serra the Rotalian artist Gentile Polo who visited the exhibition with the staff of the Studio d’Arte Gentile Polo (Gentile Polo Art Studio).

As is often the case with these cultural events, new friendships have become close, such as the one with the cartoonist and illustrator of the weekly Vita Trentina Fulvio “Fulber” Bernardini and with the American jazz musician James Thompson (Cleveland – Ohio, 1951).

I would also like to add the spontaneous cordiality and immediacy that the American jazz musician James Thompson establishes in the meeting, putting at ease those who know him for the first time like us at the Studio d’Arte Gentile Polo, and we cannot but be pleasantly impressed.
A nice person and a loving father in talking to us about his son and how he chose the name:
“I’m James, my father James, all James … so Francesco, ye’?”

The personal exhibition “Civiltà invisibili” by Antonello Serra is free and free and will remain on display at the Sale della Vela of Palazzo Candelpergher until Sunday 22 September 2019 at the following time:
Tuesday and Thursday: 17.00 – 19.00
Saturday and Sunday: 3.00 pm – 7.00 pm
