Things to remember prior to setting up a Netgear extender.
1. Stay connected with neighbors by waving them through window but not with their WiFi. Neighboring or public WiFi carry heavy traffic. What if they interrupt the Netgear AC1750 setup process? - Use an up-to-date internet browser.
- Do not use a faulty Ethernet cable.
- Update Netgear extender firmware (if required).

Netgear extender setup for EX6250 AC1750
- Hope your kids have plugged in the Netgear WiFi extender properly? Now, you have to check whether the power LED on your EX6250 is stable or not. If it is blinking, wait until it gets stable.
- Open a web browser and visit mywifiext.
- Netgear installation assistant page appears.
- Enter the Netgear extender login (default) details. See Netgear extender manual for it.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and easily set up your device without any hassle.
Note: In the event mywifiext web address is not working for you, use Netgear extender IP address (default) i.e. 192.168.1.250.
