The Story

Indiana Jones makes one last swashbuckling appearance in this fifth and final installment of the iconic role, this time directed by James Mangold – marking the first film in the series not directed by Steven Spielberg or George Lucas.

In the film, Indy is reunited with his goddaughter Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), as they collaborate to eliminate former Nazis who infiltrated NASA during the Space Race. Mangold wanted to explore this theme as Jones nears retirement and believes 1969 provided the ideal backdrop for their story.
