First win in the finals for Dallas

Luca Doncic 25 presented the Dallas Mavericks with his first win in the Western Conference finals best of four as the top scorer for the 2023-24 season of the National Basketball Association. Doncic scored a whopping 15 points in the fourth quarter alone, spearheading a head start against the Wolves Corps.

Dallas point guard Doncic played for 41 minutes in the first round of the finals against the Minnesota Timberwolves in an away game at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on the 23rd, and led the team to a 108-105 victory with 33 points 6 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, the most among the two teams. Kyrie Irving 30 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and P.J. Washington 13 points, 7 rebounds also contributed to their first win. They combined for 76 points, or 70.4 percent of the team’s points.

Dallas won the game at the end of the fourth quarter amid a tight race with the reversal of results. Dallas, which was trailing 98-102 with 3:14 left in the game, revived its pursuit with Doncic’s 26-foot 3-pointer. Dallas then turned the tide with P.J. Washington’s 23-foot 3-pointer turned the game around with 104-102, and demonstrated its instinct as a troubleshooter by running 106-102 with Doncic’s jump shot that exploded. Minnesota Sixman Naz Reid allowed two points, but he made two Irving free throws with eight seconds left to play. Mike Conley, the opponent team, followed with one free throw from Josh Green’s shooting foul, but the Wolves didn’t have much time left.

Doncic, a Slovenian, became the top scorer this regular season, averaging 33.9 points 9.2 rebounds, 9.8 assists per game, overwhelming 30.4 points 6.5 rebounds, 11.5 assists of Yanis Antetogunbo Millywood Bucks, the second-leading scorer.

Minnesota, which reached the Western finals for the first time in 20 years, was burdened by losing the first game at home. Ace Anthony Edwards had only 19 points 11 rebounds, 8 assists due to Dallas’ defense, while Carl-Anthony Towns also had a slump, scoring 16 points 7 rebounds, 2 assists. Rudy Gobert, one of Minnesota’s leading players in Twitower, also had 12 points seven rebounds that failed to highlight Dallas’ height. 토토사이트
