  3. Alternatively, you can also type http://router.asus.com or http://192.168.1.1
  4. Once you're logged into the Asus router admin page, go to the Administration.
  5. Now choose the Reset option and wait while your router initiates the Asus router reset.
  6. The Asus wifi router will take a few minutes before attempting to reboot.

Asus Router Password Reset: Hard Reset Method

The hard reset method will reset the entire settings of your Asus router. This will erase all the data, wireless logs, connections, etc from your Asus router's console. You may even require to reconfigure the device. Take a paperclip in your hand before proceeding with the Asus router hard reset.
  1. Press the reset switch / button located at the back of your Asus router.
  2. Hold the reset button for a few seconds before releasing it.
  3. Once you see all the lights on your device flash, release the button.
  4. Allow your device to get back to the factory default settings. It takes around 2 minutes for your Asus wifi router to reboot.
