MILANO (Reuters) - Granarolo entra in Francia con l'acquisizione del gruppo caseario CIPF Codipal, facente capo alla holding Compagnie du Forum, un'operazione che garantir un fatturato aggiuntivo stimato in oltre 100 milioni di euro.
CIPF Codipal, si legge in un comunicato, produce e distribuisce formaggi freschi e stagionati con i marchi Casa Azzurra, Les Fromagers de Ste Colombe e Les Fromagers de St Omer.
Il gruppo francese "vanta una quota di mercato di oltre il 20%, con tassi di crescita costanti, nel segmento dei formaggi italiani" in Francia.
L'acquisizione verr finalizzata in due fasi, entro febbraio 2013 per quanto riguarda la quota di maggioranza ed entro aprile 2014 per la restante parte.
Si prevede che le attivit che fanno capo a CIPF Codipal possano generare un fatturato di oltre 100 milioni di euro l'anno, portando il fatturato del segmento formaggi di Granarolo a superare i 400 milioni di euro, con un'incidenza del 40% sul totale dei ricavi.
L'operazione, realizzata anche grazie al supporto dell'azionista Intesa Sanpaolo, si inserisce nell'ambito del piano industriale 2012-16, condiviso con la banca, che prevede un "significativo percorso di internazionalizzazione".
"L'acquisizione di CIPF Codipal è di forte rilevanza nel segno della nostra strategia di internazionalizzazione ed esportazione dei prodotti italiani, gi oggi molto apprezzati e in costante diffusione oltre confine", ha sottolineato Gianpiero Calzolari, presidente di Granarolo. "Il Made in Italy è una leva importante per la crescita del nostro gruppo e stiamo attivamente capitalizzando i brand DOP e i prodotti italiani per spingere la nostra crescita all'estero.
