Roma, 10 gen. (Adnkronos) - Marco Paolini, in scena domenica alle 18,30 con 'Itis Galileo', inaugura il nuovo cartellone di 'Teatro Civile' del 'Carlo Gesualdo' di Avellino. Giunta alla quarta edizione, la rassegna parte raccontando la parabola del genio di Galileo, dalla sua costante ricerca 'Sui massimi sistemi', passando per le sue debolezze, fino al suo piegarsi, ormai vecchio e praticamente cieco, al cospetto del tribunale dell'Inquisizione.
Uno spettacolo nato dal lavoro di approfondimento che Paolini e Francesco Niccolini hanno dedicano al padre della scienza moderna. Sviscerando Galileo, scandagliando la sua esistenza, i suoi patemi, le sue perplessita' e le sue estreme convinzioni, Paolini consegna al pubblico un personaggio prismatico, ed umano attraverso una prosa teatrale che rimanda alla Commedia dell'Arte e al teatro shakespeariano.
Uno spettacolo che non si limita ad affrontare la tradizionale dialettica tra Fede e Ragione, che ha segnato la storia del Seicento, ma aggiunge un elemento: la Superstizione.
