(ASCA) - Roma, 21 giu - Pesca di frodo, abusivismo edilizio sul demanio, violazioni al codice di navigazione e alle norme sulla nautica da diporto, depuratori difettosi, scarichi fognari e inquinamento da idrocarburi: le illegalita' che riguardano il mare e le coste italiane, lo scorso anno, sono cresciute. Un incremento del 2,8% rispetto al 2011 e addirittura del 14,4% rispetto al primo gennaio del 2010. Oltre la meta' dei reati si e' consumata nelle quattro regioni a tradizionale presenza mafiosa - nell'ordine: Campania, Sicilia, Puglia e Calabria - seguite dalla Sardegna e dal Lazio. E' questa la fotografia del ''mare illegale'' scattata da Legambiente nel suo rapporto annuale 'Mare Monstrum', presentato questa mattina a Roma in occasione della partenza della Goletta Verde e della Goletta dei laghi 2013 che monitoreranno, anche quest'estate, lo stato di salute dei mari, delle coste e dei laghi italiani. Dal rapporto emerge che nel 2012 sono aumentati i reati (13.518, pari a 1,8 illeciti per chilometro di costa), le persone denunciate (16.092) e i sequestri che superano quota quattromila (4.076). ''L'aumento dei reati rilevati - dichiara il presidente di Legambiente, Vittorio Cogliati Dezza - e' frutto dell'attivita' di contrasto svolta dalle forze dell'ordine e dalle Capitanerie di porto ma, allo stesso tempo, rappresenta un segnale preoccupante della recrudescenza delle attivita' illecite in un periodo di crisi economica. Per questo e' importante non abbassare la guardia''. Con questo obiettivo ''sollecitiamo il parlamento a respingere i reiterati tentativi di condono.
