L'X Factor cristiano

In Italia esiste un talent show cristiano, si chiama "J Factor" e la J, ovviamente, sta per Jesus. Ne ha raccontato la storia , che ha intervistato Angelo Maugeri, il direttore artistico delllo show. Maugieri si occupa di J Factor dalla prima edizione, organizzata nel 2009, ed è lui a selezionare tra le decine di candidature iniziali (quest'anno i concorrenti erano 87, racconta) i dodici finalisti che si esibiranno per la finale, la prima e unica serata davanti a un pubblico.

J Factor è modellato, in piccolo, sul più famoso , e ne rispetta la divisione in categorie, anche se si svolge nel corso di una sola serata. I partecipanti non hanno vincoli particolari, oltre al tema, per le canzoni che presentano. I brani non devono essere per forza in italiano, e non devono essere di uno stile particolare. All'ultima edizione, registrata a Milano lo scorso dicembre, diversi concorrenti hanno cantato in inglese o spagnolo e tra i partecipanti c'era anche una coppia di rapper - gli Holy Generation.

J Factor è patrocinato dalla Chiesa Evangelica, che utilizza molto la musica come strumento per il coinvolgimento dei fedeli e per la catechesi. L'ultima edizione è stata vinta da tale Chiara (minuto 8.53 della seconda parte per ascoltarla, ha indubbie qualit canore), le selezioni per quella di quest'anno probabilmente sono gi aperte. Maugieri spiega di essere stato spesso paragonato al "Tiziano Ferro della musica cristiana" e che il coming out di Tiziano Ferro "non è che mi aiuti molto".
