Kim 'studying' high-end fashion

Kim Kardashian has allegedly been undertaking an education in high-end fashion, in a bid to emulate Coco Chanel.

Kim Kardashian has reportedly spent the last year studying high fashion.

The reality star is preparing to spend the rest of her life with fiancé Kanye West, with the pair set to walk down the aisle in Paris on May 24.

In a bid to impress her beau, who is a dedicated style follower, Kim has seemingly been learning all about high-end fashion.

"Kanye truly believes Kim can be the next Coco Chanel if she puts her mind to it. [Kim] has spent the past year quietly and secretly educating herself on the subject of ultra-high fashion at Kanye's behest," a source revealed to RadarOnline.

"Kim began her education with extensive sit-downs with the design brain trust at Rodante, because Kim wants to evolve to the next level in terms of classiness and taste and luxury."

Since becoming romantically involved with Kanye, Kim's wardrobe has had a makeover and she's regularly spotted out in designs by Balmain, Tom Ford and close friend Riccardo Tisci.

She also landed the cover of fashion bible Vogue, where she posed with Kanye in an issue that divided critics.

"Kanye wants her to focus on becoming a true luxury brand that defines a generation, like famed French fashion designer Coco Chanel - that's who she is trying to become and that's who Kanye wants her to become," the source added.

"Kim is open to trying new looks and Kanye couldn't be prouder. The goal is to become a billion dollar couple, and they are on their way."

Kim's fashion credentials will further be showcased when she wears a rumoured three different gowns to her wedding. Lanvin and Monique Lhuillier are being touted as possible designers.Read more:SheinDress evening dresses
