Ora d'Inglese, la proffa (e che proffa) ci chiede di scrivere un elaborato su cosa pensiamo della società di oggi, in venti minuti... n'è venuta fuori una cosa carina:

Many times I've thought about the past societies and about what the people had thought about their society. Most of the people who are living nowadays think that past's better, under every point of view, but what do the people of the past think about their society? They thought that past one was better and the past society before that thinks this too. So what's wrong? Perhaps, all of those who think past's better, actually have never lived in this past which they're talking about, or don't know the actual society well enough. I don't think past's better or even worse than the actual one, simply is different.
Today, money is maybe one of the most important reason which makes most of the things happen. If one thing is impossible, most of the times it's because it's too expensive. Money chooses what we see on TV, money chooses what we listen on the radio, money makes wars happen, or even money is the reason for lots of people's death. Of course, not all of the world lives for money, but I wonder if you really believe money doesn't rule the world.
