Even the New iPad is not start the mass selling in USA market, yet we have grab one PCS new iPad in hand, thanks to the commissioner fly to the Telstra in Au. Apple Retail shop and luckily become the first batch of new iPad ower, this make them boast a lot in Twitter.



Since the new ipad come to our hand, then could you guess out what will happen, seems no need to cost a lot of time to figure it out, just follow us to check the new iPad have a 1G RAM as Rumours spread a lot? And what looks like the A5X chipset? How about the huge battery which risen the capacity up to 70%, and the Retina display from Samsung, LG,or Sharp ? Now let’s get down to it….

This product is not compatible with Australian 4G lte Networks, and will only operate at up to 3G speeds in Australia.



we should call this new ipad Au 3G ipad 2 or iPad 3 4G version? By the way,the SN No. is very special which is distinguish with other Apple Products with the Model No:A1430.



You may think back the ipad as you see the back picture of the new ipad, and the named isight back camera with the Auto focusing and facing recognize function, and also support the Full HD 1080P video record and other super video stabilization new features, it’s got great improvement compare the 70 pixel camera in iPad 2.

How delicate the Retina display! How amazing it is!! Even you turn off the power, the Retina display with 2048×1536 pixel will blind eyes with high light, can you believe it ?



Only few steps to dissemble the new ipad with a air heating machine, and few Guitar Picks, plastic opener tools, magic ?



The above steps is only decatenation and from now comes to the formal disassembly works. we could only remove the display with the special sucker.


There left the last step of the disassembly. Now we will face the screws connect with the display and new ipad body. 264 pixel per inch is a very attractive concept and now it’s in front of us, just enjoy the delicate effect a moment before the next step.



You could see the adhesive tape between the display and touch pad, and get to know here that the new iPad use the different connector with Ipad 2, this means the display can’t be replaced each other, at least so far.

Got to know the 9.7” Retina is made in Samsung from the SN No., besides, three mysterious matrix code are there and none of us know what’s that for….



Besides the connector and screws, then comes more connectors and screws as well, this is the condition you have to fix the PCB with the new iPad body, and now we’re unfixing it…



After all the screws been removed, the new iPad PCB is about to present and we asked:”Siri, are you there ?” just only got endless silence there….



PCB is dissembled and this is not the end task, we’re about to go the new iPad PCB –Don’t be shy….

Finally we come to the A5X Chip. As A5X’s senior, it also made from Samsung and not have a great difference, X offers an extra 0.2G speed-up for new ipad and we know this A5X was made at the first week of 2012…. A5X hint the end of world starts ?

The new ipad have a huge battery module and this is the reason new iPad is much heavier than iPad 2, with the total battery Power 42.5Whr could support 10 hours and Cellular Network around 9 hours, the battery is formed by three battery with the size 12.5cmx6.5cmx4mm, the read number is 3.78v and 14.6Whr, the QR Label and SN No. is 741-0065-A and P11GG9-01-F01TS. The battery expect to support great on the improved CPU&GPU



The New iPad now is torn to pieces and we’re going to the goal of base connector, it seems have a same pin layout, yet now can’t sure if it could share the iPad 2.



The next we come to the annoying tape cable for it blocked the Sim card slot, yet we could see all the iPad card slot after we tip if off, just like the 3G version ipad, the new iPad also have a Sim Card pop tool.

I’m sorry the new iPad can’t use the 4G function if you’re not the user of AT&T/Verizon.



Earphone etc antenna disassembly successfully, and we found that the earphone slot is one parts of the antenna, this means it’s great trouble for the repair staff if it’s have problems. And now we say “hi” to isight, this camera have a shot and IR filter, with the function of auto exposure, support the 500 pixel photos take and Full HD 1080 Video record.

Besides the earphone slot and isight, also some other exquisite parts have to deal with, such as the antenna and preposition camera, and the new ipad camera is deploy with the VGA and special for the video chat on Facebook.



Just look at the button and switch, what a orderliness it is! All the switches and press button are here, dazzled? We nearly forget one thing, that’s the speaker, yet it’s few seconds work.

The cover of the new ipad, it’s a layer of silicone substance, yet it’s not the parts of the A5X, just a parts to transfer the heat, then it’s no doubt its function is the radiator of the CPU.
