Coffeecasts: When coffee and sound collide

Coffee tickles the palates with its strong taste as it fills the air with its rich aroma. As we slowly consume the beverage, we allow the coffee to "consume" the various senses as well. We give in. The warm feeling takes over. Contentment sets in.
This may be a normal experience for any coffee enthusiasts- a few senses satisfied, but content nevertheless.
But what if I tell you that coffee can now stimulate the sense of hearing too?

Coffeecasts: Stir your senses is a joint podcast project of UP Diliman Broadcast Communication 111 students and Figaro Coffee Company. It takes the drinking experience a notch higher by giving coffee its own voice- a voice capable of telling the distinct, glorious lifestyle it invokes. The coffee lifestyle
Gone are the days that we look at coffee as mere concoctions. With the emergence of various gourmet coffee shops in the Philippines, coffee evolved into a way of life for various people. Almost all activities can be done with a cup of coffee at hand. And with the variety of coffee blends available, there is that one cup of coffee that youll always ask your baristas to prepare for you. Baristas: students
These guys are not your usual baristas. They do not stir, blend, nor brew coffee but they make the best coffeecasts in town. They may be students, but they know how to "brew" sounds well. With the supervision of Mr. Reev Robledo, instructor of BC 111 course , the students applied broadcast techniques they learned in class to come up with wonderful flavors for the "earbuds".
